Pastor Tony and Malia Mazon
Pastor Tony Mazon is a native to youth ministry. He has served in leadership in two successful youth ministries in the Northern California Nevada district for over 13 years. He was trained at the Global Bible Institute in Modesto, Ca. under the School of Youth Ministry program. His passion is to mentor and train students to carry the message of Jesus to their campuses and homes. Pastor Tony firmly believes that youth ministry and the church are a hospital for the hurting. He desperately wants to reach the ever-increasing student population of Chico.
Pastor Tony has also spoken at several outside events such as camps, chapels and conferences.
Malia completed a Youth Ministry internship with a focus on discipleship. She oversaw Leadership Training Hour, Small Groups, Speed the Light and writing curriculum. Malia holds an Associate of Arts and majored in Mass Communication, and attended Capital Bible College with a focus on Christian Counseling. She has worked as an administrative assistant to the Northern California/Nevada Assemblies of God District Youth Director where she served in planning camps, Youth Conventions, Fine Arts Festival and smaller events throughout the calendar year. She loves supporting Pastor Tony in many ways, including overseeing Speed the Light and the Jr. High Ministry.
“PT” and Malia love students and have a passion to train new leaders, help young men and women see themselves as God sees them and watch students connect with a real, loving God. They’ll be married two years in June.
